Placentia’s Crowther Lot Overnight Parking Pilot Charges $5 per Night Plus a Service Fee

PLACENTIA — November 2, 2026. Placentia’s Crowther public parking lot has a permit-only overnight parking system following a one-year city pilot approved in late 2025.

Hours that need a permit

The city says all overnight parking at the Crowther lot from 2 to 6 a.m. requires registration and a permit. The listed cost is $5 per night plus an additional app service fee.

Why the pilot exists

City officials say drivers had been using the facility overnight although it had traditionally been marked for daytime use. The program aims to create a clearer policy and preserve daytime parking availability.

Enforcement and questions

The city says enforcement began May 11, 2026 and that ParkMobile is involved in handling permits. Signs at the lot explain registration; check current terms before leaving a car overnight. For questions, the city lists 714-993-8189.
