Placentia Schedules Veterans Day Ceremony November 11 as City Facilities Close for Holiday

PLACENTIA — November 2, 2026. The Placentia city calendar lists a public Veterans Day Ceremony for Wednesday, November 11, 2026, alongside an observance closing city facilities.

A community observance

The city’s schedule includes a veterans’ ceremony on November 11 and a Heritage Festival Committee item on the same date. A committee calendar listing does not necessarily mean ordinary public counter service is available.

City Hall closures affect permits

The city’s municipal office normally operates Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., but the Veterans Day closure overrides regular Wednesday hours. Residents should finish time-sensitive permit and payment visits beforehand.

Find the final ceremony arrangements

Attendees should check the official calendar for the venue, time, accessibility and any changes. The presence of a holiday observance on a calendar is not itself a public parking waiver or exemption from roadway rules.
